The Egyptian Journal of Immunology (EJI) editorial board is independent in the decision-making process. The EJI editorial decisions are dealt firmly within the editorial structures of the publication process. No one from the commercial or executive side of the business has the opportunity to get involved in, interfere with, or even comment on editorial decisions under any circumstances.
The EJI editorial board communicates professionally and respectfully at all times when engaging with authors, reviewers and readers. At the same time, we expect the same standards of behavior from the academic community and the public in their interactions with our staff.
Authors of a submitted manuscript should link their publication to their institution. This act allows readers to clearly understand the affiliation, and for institutions to see the works that have been published by their past and current employees.
Authors of a submitted manuscript are asked to name the corresponding author. The corresponding author should be empowered to act on behalf of all co-authors during the manuscript assessment and publication process. The corresponding author should have the authority to act on behalf of all co-authors, and that all of the listed authors have agreed to all of the content of the manuscript including the author list and author contribution statements.
EJI requires that author’s contribution to a research paper should be clearly recognized. Authors of a submitted manuscript should include a statement in the manuscript that specifies the contribution of each author.
To ensure that a submitted manuscript is not based on plagiarism, authors of primary research papers are asked to submit plagiarism.
